Here's how I view the 4 stages/phases:

01: The Dreaming Stage
Usually taking place in the 2-5 years before you retire, the dreaming stage is the time to really start thinking about what your ideal retirement destination might look like.

02: The Planning Stage
1-2 years out from retirement you should enter the planning phase. In this phase, you'll start to take a closer look at things like the cost of living, healthcare, things to do, and other amenities in the places you've been dreaming about.

Most people leave this to chance, but the happiest retirees are proactive about this. I'll guide you through how to do this, and give you a series of exercises to help.

03: The Shopping Stage
You've narrowed down your list to just a few locations and communities, and now you're ready to go shopping!

In this section, you'll learn how to go about it the right way, and get the tools to keep track of everything you see, and like or dislike.

04: The Moving Stage
You're under contract to buy or build your new place in Florida, and while that can feel like a relief, there's still lots to do.

This section will guide you through to the finish line and covers topics like insurance, homestead exemptions, closing walkthrough and inspections, and more.
