Part of my goal with Florida for Boomers is to not only educate you on retirement communities and real estate, but to broaden your horizons and show you many of the unique features our state has to offer.
This week I want to tell you about one of my favorite festivals, the Florida Strawberry Festival.
The 2013 Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City opened just the other day on February 28th and continues to run through March, 10th. For those of you not in the know, this is one of the festivals in Florida that you absolutely have to check out if you're in the area.
There's lots of fun and entertainment along with plenty of food, contests, shows and all around good times on any day you chose to attend.
This week's featured community:
Set just north of Orlando, Shea Homes at Victoria Gardens is nestled in the historic college town of DeLand, just minutes away from area attractions and pristine beaches. Shea is one of the largest private home builders in the country and specializes in eco-friendly active-adult communities. Within the community is a private club featuring a health and fitness center, luxurious pool, and championship tennis courts, designed to provide the kind of active lifestyle you're sure to love.
Boomers love the stylish single family homes at Victoria Gardens that range in size from 1,430 sf to 3,236 sf and are priced from the mid $100's. There are thirteen different floor plans to choose from and two furnished model homes in the model gallery.
As always, thanks for reading. See you next time!
